Every once in awhile I'll see someone that was on DLM, Either one of the stars or one of the reaped on another show. The other day I saw Cynthia Stevens on According to Jim.

Really? What was her character?

Also, I've noticed some actors who have been on Stargate SG-1 who have appeared. For instance, Teryl Rothery, who was Dr. Frasier on Stargate, played the realty broker who was selling the Lass family's house. Another one was Tom McBeath, playing Colonel Maybourne, who played the priest that Daisy helped bring his faith back.
Death, a.k.a. The Grim Reaper, is...well Death. He is most known for his taking of souls, his occasional riding with the four horsemen (on his horse Binky), and of course his famous garden.

John Kapelos (Angus Cook) played a dad in a movie where he unwittingly raised an abducted boy that his wife stole.

I've seen the fun in the kitchen guy somewhere, can't remember (too lazy to imdb).

Just saw the compulsive mini waffle eater in the deleted scene who was gonna shoot the counterman. He was playing a murder victim in last night's 'Reaper'.

I just remembered, the "fart-guy" was in Watchmen, in the end.

Oh yeah, come to think about it, I think I remember that. There's this other guy in the same movie who plays a thug in a bar getting interrogated by Rorschach. I might be wrong, but I think he might've been on DLM sometime, because he's one of those guys you see all the time, but never remember.

On a side note, today I realized that one of the guys I'm planning that dinner party with at school looks a lot like Gordon, the guy at the gay wedding who gets his neck broken when he tries to catch the bouquette. Not sure if I should tell him that, though.

True, he does catch the bouquet. He just doesn't get to charish the moment for too long.

I watched 4 ep of a show 'The Collector' set in Vancouver Canada which has a lot of DLM actors playing various parts

The basic story is about a former monk from the 14th century who gets picked up by Satan to help with collecting souls who've run out the clock on their deals with him. Satan makes 10 year deals with people giving them their wish and like wishing for anything especially with Satan caution is in order. The good fortune that Satan sends their way has to be balanced with bad given over to other people- usually someone close to the one benefitting. The monk who we learn has collected over 33,000 souls so far, gets Satan, who seems bored, to agree, going forward, to allow the former monk to give the lost souls a chance to find redemption - to save themselves from eternal damnation. Each episode focuses on one person's last 48 hour countdown as the Monk approaches them and tries to save them. He doesn't always succeed.

There's a great dialogue in the third ep where the intended toastee asks the monk how often has he tried to save someone? - 'twice', and how many times successful? 'once'.

Anyway, in each episode Satan is played by someone different.

In the second episode Satan is the little girl from the train in the DLM Pilot.

Clancy makes an appearance as an attorney.

The blond therapist in the second season towards the end is the wife of a toastee.

Satan in the third ep is played by the black guy who reaps George in the Pilot.

The girl at Happy Time who likes guys, a lot, in the second season of DLM is in the 4th ep.
Ellen is the one irreplaceable factor. The DLM story arcs could be restructured around the loss, permanent or temporary, of any of the other characters including Mandy as Rube, but not Ellen as George.

Just saw Like Mike2-streetball that has 3 dlm actors. Francis P, Duane, the reaper that took George in the pilot, and Bacon, the bald young guy at HappyTimes who was screaming in the copy room once.

I just saw Laura Harris on 34th Street, in front of Macy's, this morning. A companion was taking a picture of her with the Empire State Building as a backdrop. She looks great, just as she does on film, her platinum blond hair was pinned-up. I guess she's about as tall as Ellen ... and no, I didn't call out her name, approach her or take her picture!
It was just nice to see her in her own world without dragging her into mine!

I was just gonna ask you if you didn't tell her that you're a friend of Ellen's, Philippe. Then I read the last sentence and it make a lot of sense to me. There is something fascinating about watching certain people in their own 'zone', so to speak, without interfering. I guess that's why I never walk up to Rolf Lassgård the times I see him in the town where my school us.

Cynthia Stevenson is starring in a new series on ABC starting April 13, 2009. She co-stars with Bob Saget in a comedy called "Surviving Suburbia".
Good Luck Cynthia!

Funny, I thought Laura was a bit taller than Ellen...

Just saw Irritable Bowel Syndrome job applicant mega fart dude on Harper Island, a new show on Thurs.

You're absolutely right Dan:
Laura Harris = 5' 6½" (1.69 m)
Ellen Muth = 5' 3½" (1.61 m)
Since she was was a tall guy, she looked shorter ... then again, Ellen often wears high-heeled boots and looks taller ... :shhh:

Also saw on Harper Island the actor that played the Irish bar top dancer doing a birthday jig. He plays a priest that gets beheaded while snared upside down by a psychopath. His part is only a few minutes. Hope he's not typecast as a victim.

Just saw Laura Harris on the Sci Fi channel last night ina 2009 movie THE BOOK OF BEASTS. Something to do with the legend of King Arthur. Laura played a Princess in quest for Camelot. She yielded a large sword and shield, running people thru etc. Certainly not prim and proper if not prissy Daisy Adair we are used to seeing! Watched about 1 hour 15 minutes of it ,but fell asleep.

Remember the lady in the hospital who didn't realize that she was dead, and George had to convince that to her? Well anyway i just realized that she was on a pool-movie called "The Hustler", with the great Paul "Fast Eddie Felson" Newman(may he rest in peace) if i remember correctly it's from -64, well 60's anyway. And i just gotta say, it was so easy to recognize her, even though there's a 40 years between these roles.

I watched Sarah Wynter last night in ABDUCTED 2007. She is a very good dramatic actress. Only saw a hour of the movie. Why you ask I didn't watch the entire movie? Well I fell asleep as usual.
