Ellen Muth on Twitter

I looked into the Ellen Twitter accounts, and appears that there actually two. One is reporting that she just recently got offered a part as lead in an Indie Movie about a war between Heaven and Hell. The other has a post from someone that says the DLM series is gong to get started again. Who knows what to believe, or if it is even her on twitter. never the less, there seems to be quite a bit of activity on both profiles. You guys check it out. What do you think? Her or a fake?

I think it's more believable that they would be looking into bringing back DLM, although that Indie movie thing sounds pretty cool. Still, some clarification into all of this wouldn't hurt, really.

Why would Ellen put notice of new acting gigs on Twitter and not on her MySpace page, or on Ellen-Muth.net? This site to me would be the logical chose as we are the hard core and loyal fans. Maybe it is because Ellen probably has a code known only to her which identifys her as the real Ellen Muth. I believe the Twitter entrys are FAKE Ellens!

Somehow a few weeks ago I came across a link to Ellen Muth at Twitter and ended up registered and 'following' her (that EM)

I just checked it and her last entry is June 28th and shows 388 followers.

I read some of her comments at the above site, and some supposed quotes could have been said by anyone, others were posted on her myspace page and could have been taken from there. Ellen is a smart, original thinking women making it hard to believe she would use recycled quotes!

Simple rule about celebrities on Twitter: they are all fake unless they verify themselves by posting their link through an official channel.

So unless Ellen posts a Twitter link on one of her sites, or mentions it in an interview, you should assume it isn't her.

The one thing that I will say about why she would be using twitter and not myspace anymore or facebook for that matter, is the fact that twitter is really simple to use. Basicly you go on and blab about three sentences of what you are up to and move on. Myspace and Facebook are cumbersome and you can find yourself on there for hours dredging through stuff and crap,than more stuff and back to the crap. I can see how this dredging would triple or more for a celeb. Even for this site, it would be time consuming for ellen to dig through all the posts. Hell I have a DOD job at night, and only do two hours of real work a night and I can't get through all the posts on this site. No offense Hokie I think you have done a fine job, but just stating an observation. K?

Bottom line is twitter is simple. Simple = less time spent on in.

Hopefully someone who follows these other sites will keep those of us on this site informed of what is going on. I personally do not have the time or interest to follow the chatter of these other sites.

yeah ok. I didn't like twitter at first but it is starting to grow on me. The fact that you can only write about three sentences on a post simplifies things and I spend a lot less time getting caught up on things, as opposed to Facebook and Myspace, where I can spend hours sifting through stuff and more stuff. I had problems with Myspace like that too. Someone hacked my password, changed my page all around, wrote crazy stuff in the profile, sent out all kinds off comments and messages. I have a problem with my Inbox that I have like 30 unread message, but who knows where they are. Not in my inbox. Hopefully it wasn't something important like a rich supermodel wanted to marry me.

The above quote was posted on Twitter before we on this site were informed of her acceptance of her lead role. If this is really Ellen why does she not come to this site and say hello every now and then. I understand she is busy, but apparently not to busy to post on Twitter. Maybe she feels Twitter has a much bigger following, hence more possible contacts for future work. I don't blame her if that is her reason, but again this site has some of the most loyal fans at one location and has been around for a long time (5 years).


Just wondering, could ther be a post-it out on us?

I asked Philippe on twitter if thats the real ellen and told him there is another one and if the other isn't her..they should report it. Have yet to hear back from him. I heard that ellens new movie, the nephilla, has been confirmed from the people doing the movie. So I believe twitter.com/ellenamuth is indeed the real one and the other is fake. This ellen (ellenamuth) is also following philippe. The other one has posted stuff from her myspace. Lets hope we find out for sure, I am guessing the other is just blowing smoke about a new season of dlm.

There is also a verified thing she can go through too. Alyssa milano is officially verified 100% legit and she can do it as well.
